San Diego coffee shops. I certainly can't live without them, thats for sure. But they weren't always that many San Diego coffee shops around. In fact, it took the rise of Starbucks in the late 90's for coffee culture to spread and form into San Diego coffee shops, all the way from rainy Seattle where things got started with Starbucks. |

Now there are hundreds of San Diego coffee shops that have popped up over the last few years - there are over 100 independent San Diego coffee shops now. There are particular areas where these independent San Diego coffee shops seem to have spung up in particular - there are many in the trendy university heights/north park area, and also in Pacific Beach. And at last count, there are also 174 Starbucks in San Diego, just in case you can't find one easily (including several places where there are 2 opposite on the same road!)| - See What's New | San Diego Coffee Shops Videos | ||||
