Gelato Vero, San Diego
| This coffee shop doesn't actually sound like a coffee shop, don't let it fool you because Gelato Vero sure is. And what a great coffee shop it is too - definitely a CoffeeShopCritic favorite. Where to begin first? Well, the place is huge, but you wouldn't realize when you first walk in. You have to go outside and up the stairs to find the beautiful contemporary main area, complete with stunning view of the ocean and downtown. It seems like they have gone out of their way to provide as many laptop hookups as possible, which is great, and the free wireless is high quality and reliable. Truly a great place to work or study! |
| Coffee is great and they don't mind giving free refills either. Another wonderful thing about Gelato Vera are their opening hours - they are open until midnight/1am every day, yep even in the winter. This is great for night owls who like to work late in the evening. This place can get VERY busy sometimes because its so popular - be prepared to wait, its worth it! Also the parking can sometimes be problematic - a very busy area and metered street parking doesn't make for good options. Oh, and the gelato is great too! |
