| Think Sesame Street/Barney's Play Pen, and combine that with a place that serves wonderful coffee. And what do you have? Claire de Lune coffee shop in North Park. Yep, if you are in a sad mood, this is definitely the coffee shop for you! The first thing that hits you about this place is that its so bright and loungy feeling. Makes you think that all the people working there are going to burst into song about someone's birthday at any minute! Breakfast and lunch is available all day here too (open till midnight/1am every day), and is very tasty. |
| Claire de Lune is definitely one of the busier and more popular coffee shops in San Diego - pretty much anytime you walk in there, its going to be a little busy. But its not usually that hard to find a table and seat - there are plenty of them, including in a cool upstairs alcove area. This a great place to work and study - can get a little loud though, so bring your headphones. Unfortunately for some reason they don't have free wireless internet either, so they lost points there. However, they do offer some great entertainment here on friday and saturday nights, for those of you looking for a non-bar scene place to hang out. |
