| Let me tell you this. Caffe Calabria in North Park is for SERIOUS coffee drinkers. They roast their own coffee beans here, and have over 25 different blends, all available in a french press for your enjoyment. And yes, the coffee is fantastic, the house blend in particular. This very modern coffee shop is very new and stylish inside, boasting high ceilings and interior french windows so you can see into the roastery. They have plenty of room at Caffe Calabria too - they have many tables to sit and study or work, and they also have free wireless internet too. They also have beer on tap here if you feel like refreshment of that variety, plus a good selection of wine. |
| The coffee at Caffe Calabria is very cheap coffee too - only $1.35 for a medium coffee! Very good deal, I guess because they roast their own. Unfortunately there isn't many places to plug your laptop in (for being a new place, they should have planned for that better). And strangely, they are only open until 3pm, except saturdays where they close at 8pm. You would think they would stay open later, especially with beer and wine. But overall, Caffe Calabria is great and definitely worth a visit. |
