Brickyard Coffee, San Diego
| Brickyard is a hidden gem, just a few minutes walk away from the gaslamp district downtown. As the name suggests, its very 'bricky' looking, making for a very cool looking coffee shop, inside and out. Popular with tourists, Brickyard has plenty of space to sit and relax, and also has a nice patio area. Lots of places to plug laptops in, but unforunately they don't have free wireless internet. Shame. The coffee is pretty good here, and they have a large food menu with some great panini's and salads in particular. |
| Parking can be a problem sometimes and being metered doesn't help either. Luckily its right on the convention center trolley stop, so its easy to get to that way. The staff at Brickyard and very friendly and helpful. Its very dog friendly here at the Brickyard too. Overall, Brickyard is one of the more impressive downtown San Diego coffee shops. |
